Club tennis wins first home match
Bulletin FileIn the opening stages of the season, Gonzaga club tennis served its way into the history books.
On Oct. 14, the team hosted its first home match in club history, when it squared off against Washington State University at the Stevens Center, located just a few blocks away from GU’s campus.
Gonzaga club tennis was founded in 2009 and competes year-round in regional and national tournaments. Along with the big-league tournaments, it competes in a couple individual matches each year. It is a co-ed team and has 30 players this season.
