Chuck Harris led the way with 20 points, Matt Cross posted his second straight double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds and SMU registered a 76-65 victory over Cal on Wednesday night in Dallas. SMU (16-5, 7-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) won for the fifth time in six games. B.J. Edwards (15 points, nine rebounds) and Boopie Miller (13 points) also made key contributions for the Mustangs. Cal (11-10, 4-6) saw its three-game winning streak come to an end. Rytis Petraitis paced the Golden Bears with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jeremiah Wilkinson added 16 points and Jovan Blacksher Jr.
