BYU coach Amber Whiting announced Saturday that she will not be back next season, agreeing to part ways with the school. A second Big 12 program, Arizona State, also has an opening after dismissing Natasha Adair. Whiting just finished her third season at BYU and posted a 45-51 record, including 19-35 in conference. The season ended Wednesday for the Cougars (13-17, 4-14) with an 81-69 loss to UCF in the Big 12 conference tournament. Associate head coach Lee Cummard will serve as interim head coach. At Arizona State, Adair is out after a 10-22 (3-15) season. She became the coach of the Sun Devils in 2022 and compiled a 29-62 record.
