The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed starting cornerback Jamel Dean (hamstring) and rookie wide receiver Kameron Johnson (ankle) on injured reserve Monday before their home game against the Baltimore Ravens. In corresponding moves, Tampa Bay also activated defensive lineman Earnest Brown IV from IR and elevated punter Trenton Gill from the practice squad to play in the Ravens game. Gill is competing with Jake Camarda for the Bucs' punting job. Dean, 28, started all six games for Tampa Bay this season but injured his hamstring in the Bucs' Week 6 win over the New Orleans Saints. He was unable to practice this week.
