ST. PAUL, Minn. — Only one short year into his time in New England, Brandin Cooks has mastered the media portion of the Patriot Way.
For all of its pomp and circumstance, for all of the televised stunts and celebrity cameos, Opening Night at the Super Bowl is often a chance for players to reflect and open up about the path that led them to football's biggest stage.
Cooks laughed a little in his appearance at a podium in Monday night's extravaganza at the XCel Energy Center, particularly at comedian J.B. Smoove's rapid-fire questions about what Brandin Cooks cooks best in the kitchen.
