With seven starters departing from the University of Wisconsin football team this offseason, expect plenty of new faces on the field when the Badgers begin the season Aug. 31 against Western Kentucky.

The position changes of two more familiar players, however, could help UW fill gaps left by those seven former starters. Junior Garrett Rand moved from nose tackle to defensive end and projects as a first-team player for the first time in his career, while senior Arrington Farrar moved from inside linebacker to outside linebacker as he tries to put it all together in his final season.
