Advocate staff photo by SCOTT THRELKELDOutside Tom Benson's second day of visitation Thursday, renowned former Saints kicker Morten Andersen said one of the smartest decisions that the late owner of New Orleans' NFL franchise ever made was to act nothing like two of his famously hands-on counterparts.
"He wasn't an Al Davis (the late Oakland Raiders owner) or a Jerry Jones (the Cowboys owner)," Andersen, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, said outside Notre Dame Seminary.
