2019 four-star point guard Boogie Ellis cut his schools down to eight today, and Gonzaga is still in the mix.
It is a little bit of an eclectic list of schools, with the major heavy hitters of the west coast there, including Arizona and Oregon. The Zags offered Ellis a scholarship spot after his performance on the EYBL Circuit, where he averaged over 14 points per game.
Ellis is the No. 6 ranked point guard in the class of 2019 according to 247 Sports, and the No. 81 ranked player overall. It would seem, however, that the Zags are in an uphill climb to land his services.
