The Gonzaga Bulldogs were awarded a No. 11 seed in the Midwest region of the 2016 NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs will face off against No. 6 Seton Hall in Denver on Thursday, March 17.
It is the 18th-consecutive NCAA Tournament for the Gonzaga Bulldogs, but it is the first time the Bulldogs have been awarded a double-digit seed since the 2011 NCAA Tournament.
Considering how the year was going for much of the beginning of the season, the Bulldogs are happy just to make it into the tournament. Gonzaga lost virtually all statement games as the year progressed, holding only a win over the Connecticut Huskies as the shining jewel of their resume.
