10 Observations from the Gonzaga-West Georgia game

It’s good to see Gonzaga back in action, and even better to see them play to the level we were all hoping for—at least for one night—after our endless speculation about the talent of this team.

After each game this season, I’ll try to share some of my quick thoughts. With all necessary qualifiers about the talent level of the opponent and the fact it was just an exhibition, here are my observations from the game against West Georgia:

  1. The only thing that seemed to go wrong for Gonzaga in this game was the tipoff when the ball went straight to a West Georgia player for an easy layup.
