NAPLES, Fla. – With so much focus on the youth movements in men’s and women’s golf, Cristie Kerr relished reminding golf fans she isn’t done making her mark.
Kerr, 38, won the CME Group Tour Championship Sunday for her second LPGA title this year.
“I think good golf is just good golf,” Kerr said. “It doesn't really matter what age. I think I proved that. Again, I hope you are still asking me when I'm 45. Hopefully, I'll still be winning tournaments.”
Kerr closed with a 4-under-par 68 at Tiburon Golf Club.
