Yin takes two close wins to earn spot in U.S. Girls' Junior final

Despite playing with a wrist injury, Lexi Thompson is still fighting, shooting a second-round 64 to get into contention at the Meijer LPGA Classic.

But fighting may have injured Thompson in the first place. The 20-year-old from Coral Springs, Fla., is dealing with an injury that may stem from punching a interviewer during a photo shoot in February, her agent told Golf Channel.

Thompson was asked to punch a Conde Nast Entertainment associate producer several times for a photo shoot with Golf Digest, which detailed her training regimen. That session caused a bone bruise in Thompson's wrist, according to her agent.
