Yang posts nine consecutive birdies for closing 27 at Hana Bank

Amy Yang birdied every hole on the back nine in South Korea to card a record 9-under 27 on Sunday the LPGA Keb Hana Bank Championship. Thanks to a "perfect nine,” Yang finished with a 10-under 62 to tie for fourth, two strokes back of winner Lexi Thompson.

“I had so many experiences like this, so I'm just trying to keep it simple,” said Yang, whose previous best birdie streak was six in a row.

Yang’s 9-under 27 marks the lowest nine-hole score in relation to par in LPGA history and ties the lowest nine-hole score in terms of strokes.
