Si Woo Kim earned his first PGA Tour victory on Sunday at the Wyndham Championship, and he made sure to run away from the field in the process after a narrow miss in a playoff loss to Aaron Baddeley at the Barbasol Championship in July.
Kim finished at 21 under par for the tournament following Sunday's three-under 67, which was five strokes clear of second-place finisher Luke Donald.
There would be no playoff this time around for the 21-year-old, who did most of the heavy lifting Friday and Saturday. According to Helen Ross of the PGA Tour's official website, Kim's 60 in the second round was a course record at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, and he followed that up with a six-under 64 in the third round.
