GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) -- The annual PGA Tour event in Greensboro will keep its title sponsorship with Wyndham Worldwide through 2026.
Officials with the tour and the company announced the 10-year extension to remain the sponsor of the Wyndham Championship on Tuesday.
Wyndham took over sponsorship of the event in 2007. This extension takes effect once the current four-year deal expires after this year's tournament, which is set for Aug. 20-23 at Sedgefield Country Club.
The Wyndham, the PGA Tour's sixth-oldest event, marked its 75th anniversary last year. It's the final tournament before the postseason.
Camillo Villegas won the tournament last year.
