GREENSBORO, N.C. – Following his come-from-behind victory on Sunday at the Wyndham Championship Davis Love III was asked the ultimate Ryder Cup conundrum.
Next year’s U.S. Ryder Cup captain said he would play next year’s matches if he were to qualify.
“I would play, sure. We have Tom Lehman and a bunch of others waiting in the wings to help,” said Love, who won his 21st PGA Tour title and become the third oldest at 51 to win a Tour event. “He’s not just an assistant who is waiting until next year to help decide who gets a [captain’s] pick.
