Woosnam, 1991 Masters champion, says he's done at Augusta (The Associated Press)

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) -- A quarter century after winning the Masters, Ian Woosnam has played his last competitive round at Augusta National.

After playing Friday's round in 9-over 81 and failing to break 80 for the second straight day, the 58-year-old Welshman told a small group of reporters he wouldn't tee it up at Augusta anymore.

He said the course had become too long and his bad back seized up as soon as he started walking the hilly layout.

On Sunday in 1991, Woosnam made an 5-foot par putt to win the green jacket after battling Tom Watson and Jose Maria Olazabal all day.
