Woods doubles two par 5s, shoots 75 in Round 3

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – On “Moving Day” at The Players Championship, Tiger Woods quickly went in the wrong direction.

After making the cut on the number, Woods shot a 3-over 75 in the third round to drift toward the bottom of the standings at TPC Sawgrass. Woods was undone by the par 5s, playing four of the easiest holes on the Stadium Course in a cumulative 3 over.

Woods declined to speak with the media following his round.

Woods found 13 greens in regulation – compared to 10 of 18 during each of the first two rounds – but converted only two of eight birdie opportunities from inside 15 feet.
