Woods calls Love to volunteer as Ryder Cup assistant

It appears Tiger Woods is willing to help out the U.S. in future team events any way he can, even if he's not out there hitting the shots himself.

During the fourball session on Day 2 of the Presidents Cup in which Jay Haas' U.S. squad was watching the Internationals mount a comeback that would eventually fall just short, Woods called up assistant captain Fred Couples, and eventually asked to speak to the other assistant Davis Love III, who will be in charge when the Americans take on the Europeans at next year's Ryder Cup at Hazeltine National.
