HARRISON, N.Y. -- The Women's PGA Championship will be played for the first time in the Pacific Northwest next year.

Tournament officials announced Saturday that the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington, has been chosen to host the 2016 KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

The course, about 23 miles east of Seattle, was the site of the 1998 PGA Championship and the 2010 U.
