Anirban Lahiri overcomes low temperatures

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Anirban Lahiri might soon owe Graeme McDowell a very expensive dinner.
Lahiri was able to procure one of the last sets of 2014 Srixon Z914 blades from McDowell last week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Lahiri added a 3 ½-gram weight and it’s made a substantial difference – about 10 yards in length, but most importantly, a tighter dispersion.
“It’s frustrating when you know you’re not making bad swings and you’re not getting the results you want,” Lahiri said earlier this week at The Players Championship, “so it’s equally satisfying when it comes together like this.
