In his last Web.com Tour start, last month at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open, Wes Roach opened with a first-round 65, but was later disqualified for signing an incorrect scorecard.
Sunday, Roach bounced back with his first victory on the tour, at the El Bosque Mexico Championship.
Roach, 26, closed with a final-round 4-under 68 to finish the 72-hole tournament at El Bosque Golf Club at 17-under 271. Kevin Tway and Patton Kizzire tied for second, four shots back.
The victory also gives Roach two top 10s on the season – he tied for third at the Chile Classic last month.
