Boo Weekley's par save on the 18th hole capped a solid opening round at the AT&T Byron Nelson Championship - even if it cost him a pair of shoes.
Weekley's drive on the closing par-4 drifted toward a lake on the left side before hanging up on the bank. That saved Weekley a penalty shot, but it meant that the veteran had to stand in knee-deep water to play his second shot.
Ever the outdoorsman, Weekley rolled up his pant legs and strode into the lake - shoes still on - and pitched his ball back into the fairway.
