LOS ANGELES — Bubba Watson rallied with two late birdies and closed with a 3-under 68 on Sunday to win the Northern Trust Open.
Watson trailed Jason Kokrak by two shots with four holes to play at Riviera. Kokrak, going for his first PGA Tour victory, made bogey on the 15th and struggled to make par the next two holes. Watson made a 5-foot birdie putt on the 16th, two-putted for birdie on the 17th and closed with a par for a one-shot victory.
It was Watson's second victory in three years at Riviera, and the ninth of his PGA Tour career.
