AUGUSTA, Ga. – Bubba Watson says he’s only about "80 percent" fit for the Masters after dealing with a sinus infection earlier this week.
After spending all but two hours in bed Monday, Watson played an 18-hole practice round on Tuesday.
“This place energizes you quite nicely,” he said.
Watson, a two-time Masters winner, is one of the pre-tournament favorites after winning at Riviera and finishing second at the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral.
He tweaked his back and withdrew from Bay Hill, and now he’s come down with a nasty sinus infection that required a visit from his doctor.
