WATCH: Troy player holes out to earn NCAA berth

With a spot in the NCAA Championship on the line, Troy’s Tolver Dozier didn’t waste much time.

On the first hole of a sudden-death playoff, Dozier holed out from 138 yards for eagle to defeat Ohio State’s Addison Coll and earn his spot at Concession Golf Club on May 29.

"It's crazy," Dozier told the New Haven Register. "I was just trying to hit it close and I got lucky that it went in. It's pretty cool. It's my senior year and it's kind of icing on the cake."

Dozier and Coll both finished the New Haven regional at 4-under 206.
