Phil Mickelson was 3 shots behind leader Nick Taylor when he stepped onto the 13th tee box on Saturday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and surely the last thing he wanted to do was have to work for a par on the short 281-yard par 4.
After finding the fairway, Mickelson had only 128 yards left to the hole, but he yanked his approach shot long and left.
So far left that the shot tracker didn’t even pick it up, leaving himself a 43 yard shot to the hole, up a hill, over a TV tower and through some trees.
