The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship will be held without spectators when it’s staged Aug. 28-30 in Rogers, Arkansas., the LPGA and tournament jointly announced on Thursday.
That means at least the first five LPGA tournaments in the tour’s restart amid the COVID-19 pandemic will be played without fans in attendance.
The LPGA is making its restart next week at the Drive On Championship at Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio. The tour will move to the Marathon Classic (Aug. 6-9) the following week, with a charter flight then taking players and caddies to Scotland for back-to-back events at the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open (Aug.
