RIO DE JANEIRO -- The women's Olympic golf tournament boasts a strong field of 60 worldwide players, including No. 1-ranked Lydia Ko, who is among 39 Olympians who compete on the LPGA Tour.
The players range in age from Aditi Ashok, 18, of India to Catriona Matthew, 46 of Great Britain. There is also a Hall of Famer, Inbee Park, one of four South Korean golfers in the field.
There are also three amateurs -- Ireland's Leona Maguire, Switzerland's Albane Valenzuela and Hong Kong's Tiffany Chan -- who managed to play in enough professional events to earn world ranking points and qualify.
