Villegas withdraws from Olympics over scheduling

Camilo Villegas has withdrawn from next month's Olympics to focus on maintaining his PGA Tour status as well as concerns over the Zika virus.

Villegas' two-year exemption for winning the 2014 Wyndham Championship expires at the end of this season, and he is currently No. 141 on the FedEx Cup points list. According to an AP report, Villegas has opted to bypass a spot in the Olympics because it would mean missing both the Travelers Championship and John Deere Classic to travel to Brazil.
