But Martin Kaymer now knows he has something else to avoid ... children stealing his golf balls?
Yep, the German experienced that phenomenon on Friday at the DP World Tour Championship. Facing a long second shot into the par-5 18th, Kaymer pulled out a fairway wood and saw his ball flare well right near the greenside grandstands.
His ball came to rest about 20 feet from spectators on the ground beside the grandstand, and that was the cue for two children to race with fury to capture the ball:
