The prestigious Players Amateur moved from the South Course to the North Course at the Berkeley Hall Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C. It fit the eye of Anthony Maccaglia, Division III's marquee player, in Round 1.

BLUFFTON, S.C. – Anthony Maccaglia didn’t carry the Oglethorpe bag to the Players Amateur, but it doesn’t mean Maccaglia is through carrying the torch for his team or his division.
