Video of Scottie Scheffler speaking to police following his arrest ahead of the second round of the 2024 PGA Championship outside Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, revealed the golfer was concerned with how aggressive the officer was during the interaction.
As Alex Meyers of Golf Digest shared Wednesday, Scheffler admitted he "did get a little impatient because I'm quite late for my tee time."
However, he also said, "as he was reaching into the car, he grabbed my shoulder and hit me. … It seemed to be a little bit over-aggressive … I pulled a little bit because I was afraid.
