The LPGA’s power couple put on quite the show Tuesday at the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic. Brittany Lincicome and her fiance, Dewald Gouws, wowed over 900 kids in Prattville, Ala., with a variety of trick shots and booming drives. Gouws, a beefy South African and long-drive competitor, once cranked a drive 464 yards in competition.
Lincicome, known on tour as “Bam Bam”, and Gouws smashed through watermelons. Gouws also hit a drive off a high tee with a hang-time of 12 seconds and drove through a half-inch-thick piece of plywood. Lincicome and Brooke Pancake lobbed golf balls with mints on them for kids to catch.
