Jordan Spieth won't tee it up at TPC Boston in the Deutsche Bank Championship for another few days (the tournament begins Friday), but the 22-year-old two-time major champ was in Boston Tuesday night to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Fenway Park.
A Texas Rangers fan, Spieth trotted out to the mound at Fenway in a Red Sox jersey and cap. A lefty on the mound, Spieth then threw to Boston pitcher Joe Kelly – it was a little high, though.
The Red Sox went on to lose the game to the rival New York Yankees, 3-1.
