Vegas eyeing potential win, Open Championship berth

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. – Golf can be a perplexing game at times, but it starts to get a little easier when you give yourself a birdie putt on every single green.

Jhonattan Vegas did just that, hitting all 18 greens in regulation during the second round of The Greenbrier Classic. Vegas shot a 5-under 65, and at 9 under he shares the lead with Scott Langley at the halfway point.

“It was a solid round overall, from beginning to the end,” Vegas said. “Gave myself a lot of opportunities, able to make some, some that nearly went in, but overall a completely solid round from tee to green.
