Led by Will Gordon, the Vanderbilt men’s golf team captured the title at the Schenkel Invitational in Statesboro, Ga., on Sunday.
Gordon, who is No. 36 in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, fired 9-under 63 during the final round to propel the No. 10 Commodores to a 19-under 269, claiming the victory by 10 strokes. Gordon made nine birdies and nine pars during the final round, finishing 13 under for the tournament. Vandy finished 41 under overall.
