Valspar Championship 2017: Final Leaderboard Scores, Prize-Money Payouts

Adam Hadwin captured his first PGA Tour win Sunday when he bested Patrick Cantlay in a thrilling finish at the 2017 Valspar Championship.

Hadwin—who entered the day at 14-under with a four-shot lead—appeared headed for a comfortable victory with a two-shot lead through 15 holes, but disaster struck when his tee shot at the par-four 16th found the drink, as the PGA Tour documented on Twitter:

Hadwin proceeded to card a double bogey, and he dropped back to 14-under.

At the same time, Patrick Cantlay caught fire as he notched four birdies in the span of five holes between Nos.
