RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. (AP) -- Albane Valenzuela and Hannah O'Sullivan shared low amateurs honors Sunday in the ANA Inspiration.
The 18-year-old Valenzuela, from Switzerland, closed with a 4-over 76. O'Sullivan, also 18, had a 77 to match Valenzuela at 5-over 293. The only amateurs to make the cut at Mission Hills, they tied for 65th in the LPGA Tour's first major championship of the season.
O'Sullivan, the U.S. Women's Amateur champion, is a high school senior in Chandler, Arizona.
Valenzuela and O'Sullivan will soon be rivals in the Pacific-12 Conference, with Valenzuela set to attend Stanford, and O'Sullivan headed to Southern California.
