U.S. Ryder Cup team takes over Patriots' field

When the New England Patriots are away, the U.S. Ryder Cup team will play.

Members of the American squad, who are in town for the Deutsche Bank Championship, which begins Friday at TPC Boston, crashed Gillette Stadium Wednesday evening.

As you can tell from the below photo, team members, captains, vice captains and PGA of America officials were sporting No. 1 jerseys ... all except Jim Furyk, Mr. 58.

They also took a few swings and managed to not leave any divots.
