OAKMONT, Pa. – The U.S. Open will return to Oakmont Country Club in 2025 and then to Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in 2026, the USGA announced Saturday.
No site has hosted more U.S. Opens than Oakmont.
The championship’s return to suburban Pittsburgh in ’25 will mark the 10th time Oakmont hosts. Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, N.J., has been home to the U.S. Open seven times, but not all on the same course. Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Township, Mich., has hosted six U.S. Opens.
