The second round of the 2024 U.S. Open came to an end on Friday, leaving several notable golfers out of the weekend's upcoming action.
Ludvig Åberg currently sits at the top of the leaderboard at five under through two rounds. Åberg is the first player to hold a 36-hole lead in their U.S. Open debut since 1985.
Bryson DeChambeau, Thomas Detry, and Patrick Cantlay are tied for second place at four under.
While the cut line fluctuated between four-over and five-over throughout the day, it eventually settled at five-over.
