The U.S. took second in the Pan American Games on Sunday, finishing close behind Colombia in the international competition for amateurs and professionals held in Ontario. The American team of two U.S. collegians and two future collegians couldn’t quite make up their two-shot deficit in the final round.
Lee McCoy, of Georgia, and Beau Hossler, of Texas, led the Americans on Sunday with rounds of 3-under 69 at the Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham, Ontario. They finished fourth and sixth, respectively on the men’s individual leaderboard. Colombia’s Marcelo Rozo won the men’s individual title at 13 under.
