Twitter reaction to 'conceded putt' controversy

Controversy engulfed the Solheim Cup Sunday morning during the closing stretch of fourballs.

Playing with Brittany Lincicome, American Alison Lee thought an 18-inch putt to halve the 17th hole had been conceded and scooped her ball up, only to find out it hadn't been. The result was a loss of the hole and eventually the match to the European twosome of Suzann Pettersen and Charley Hull.

As with any controversy in 2015, there was plenty of reaction on social media from other pros, golf personalities and even the competitors themselves.
