Tshwane Open field lacks star power, but gives little guys chance to shine

It’s time for the European Tour’s minnows to shine.

After three weeks of struggling to get into the tour’s Desert Swing of Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Dubai, the little guys are given a chance to tee it up in the Tshwane Open in South Africa.

However, the European Tour goes to the other end of the spectrum after three strong events with excellent fields. With all due respect to sponsors and organizers, the fare served up this week in South Africa is pretty poor.

Charl Schwartzel is the biggest name in the field, the only player with a major to his name.
