Trump company sues Doral homeowners for messing with golf course landscape

With Donald Trump expected to be on hand for the WGC-Cadillac Championship, it was going to be near impossible for him to avoid making headlines in the golf world this week.

It's only Monday, and he's already doing it.

According to the Miami Herald, the Trump-owned company that bought Trump National Doral five years ago is suing five homeowners whose properties partially touch the edge of the golf course for tampering with Doral's renovated landscape.

The Herald uncovered five lawsuits the Trump-owned company filed in four separate Miami-Dade County circuit courts. The lawsuits alleged that the five homeowners have damaged some of the new landscape – trees, bushes and flowers – that composed part of Trump’s alleged $200 million investment in the host resort.
