LONDON (Reuters) - Donald Trump denounced the Scottish government as "foolish, small minded and parochial" on Wednesday after the U.S. Republican presidential front runner lost a long-running legal battle with his mother's homeland.
The Trump Organisation was reacting after Britain's Supreme Court unanimously threw out his bid to stop an offshore wind farm being built near his luxury Scottish golf resort.
"History will judge those involved unfavorably and the outcome demonstrates the foolish, small minded and parochial mentality which dominates the current Scottish Government’s dangerous experiment with wind energy," a statement on behalf of the organization said.
