To provide more speed through the hitting area and overall distance, Tour Edge designed the new Exotics EX9 fairway woods with a more aerodynamic crown, a flexible face and a unique sole.
The Exotics EX9 heads have a Carpenter 475 stainless steel face cup laser-welded to the chassis. To make the clubhead cut through the air more easily, designers sloped the crown from topline to the back of the club. The company says this reduces drag.
To help maintain speed as the club comes into contact with turf, Tour Edge gave the Exotics EX9 a re-engineered version of the Slip Stream sole.
