OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. — Just days after the U.S. Women’s Amateur matched up two juniors in the final, it’s clear that their counterparts on the male side don’t have the same firepower.
While darkness will likely descend before the second round of the 115th U.S. Amateur can conclude on Tuesday, many players in the 312-man field will know where they stand in terms of placing inside the top 64 and reaching the match play.
