Former NFL star Tony Romo held his own during his first career round in the PGA Tour.
Romo finished five strokes over par with a score of 77 Thursday in the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship in the Dominican Republic. He tallied an even par on the front nine, but three bogeys and a double bogey on the back nine hurt his overall score.
He now sits in a tie for 127th place out of 132 players, 14 strokes off the lead, per PGATour.com. Despite his struggles, he still had three birdies while averaging a respectable 288 yards per drive.
